The famous Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory is located in Fisherman's Wharf, one of the most visited places in San Francisco. I had secretly been waiting all week to indulge in some Ghirardelli chocolate, and on our last night, we all had a chance to visit Ghiradelli Square and treat ourselves to sundaes! Featured below is the "Midnight Reverie" sundae: Chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, dark chocolate hot fudge, and a dark chocolate "Twilight" square. In addition to producing melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, Ghirardelli has sustainability practices of their own primarily based around where their cocoa beans come from and how they are sourced. For more information, here is a link to their sustainability page http://www.ghirardelli.com/sustainability.
We finally got to eat at the In And Out after our service project at Crissy Airfield. After a little bit of Googling and some Yelping we found that the best thing to order is the Double-double with well done fries all "animal style" which added cheese, grilled onions, and a special sauce to both items. Below is an image of the gluttony.
Located in the Financial district of SF, Sushirrito specializes in a unique food item that I've never seen before. Burrito sized sushi. And let me tell you, it tastes better than it sounds--as long as you like sushi.
This famous grilled cheese is named the Marin Melt which was featured on the Food Network's "Best Thing I Ever Ate". It was highly recommended during Dylan's Tour. The sandwich was served with tomato soup with the ingredients sourced locally and all of the eating ware was compostable!
